Restoring Pride to Mississinewa High School’s Athletic Facilities in Gas City, IN
At A Plus Home and Roof Wash, we take pride in helping local schools and communities look their best. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Mississinewa High School in Gas City, Indiana, where we provided a complete pressure washing transformation of their tennis courts and stadium bleachers.
This project wasn’t just about cleaning — it was about revitalizing community spaces that students, families, and fans enjoy all year round.
🧽 The Challenge: Years of Buildup and Wear
The outdoor surfaces at any high school take a beating from weather, foot traffic, and organic buildup. At Mississinewa, the tennis courts had layers of dirt, algae, and grime that dulled their appearance and made them slippery in places — a safety concern for players and coaches alike. The bleachers had accumulated years of grime, mildew, and staining, making them look worn out and neglected.
💪 Our Process: Professional Cleaning That Makes a Difference
We approached this project with the same careful process we use for all large-scale commercial cleaning jobs:
- Site Evaluation – We surveyed the surfaces and determined the safest and most effective cleaning method.
- Pre-Treatment – We applied eco-friendly cleaning solutions to loosen embedded grime and algae.
- Surface-Specific Cleaning – Using commercial-grade pressure washing equipment, we gently but thoroughly cleaned the tennis courts, taking care not to damage the surface.
- Bleacher Cleaning – We pressure washed the bleachers from top to bottom, restoring the original shine of the aluminum and removing layers of grime, mildew, and discoloration.
- Rinse and Inspection – After a full rinse, we reviewed the work with school staff to ensure complete satisfaction.
🎾 The Results: Safe, Clean, and Game-Ready
The before-and-after transformation was incredible. The tennis courts now look brighter, cleaner, and safer for players. The stadium bleachers went from dingy and weathered to clean and inviting, just in time for upcoming sports events and school gatherings.
The school staff was thrilled with the outcome — and we were honored to help bring new life to spaces where students and the community gather and compete.
